We always fed the birds when we lived in Nevada so when we moved to the Olympic Peninsula we brought along our bird feeders. We fed sparrows, finches, grosbeaks and even cedar waxwings. We had no idea of what we would see at our feeders in Washington. What we saw was totally unexpected.
